Linseed oil - boiled

Description
Boiled linseed oil, made from cold-pressed linseed oil from Sweden, which is then processed—boiled (oxidized), filtered, and purified to improve its drying properties and resistance to external environmental factors. Contains no solvents or stabilizers.
Application
Boiled linseed oil is used for thinning our linseed oil paints (up to 5% of the paint volume) when a thinner paint consistency is needed. Our paints contain no solvents, and to preserve the natural properties of the paint, they should only be thinned with boiled linseed oil.
Boiled linseed oil is also used for restoring painted surfaces. Over time, painted surfaces may become slightly “chalky” due to the natural oxidation of linseed oil paint. In these cases, we recommend restoring the finish with boiled linseed oil, which will revive the original “sheen” of the paint and provide additional protection. This is a highly economical way to refresh the existing finish.
Here is a short video guide on how to restore surfaces with boiled linseed oil:
Average coverage: 1 liter of boiled linseed oil covers approximately 15-20 m2 depending on the wood surface. Apply in a thin layer, rubbing it into the wood surface with a stiff bristle brush.
Drying Time
Approximately 24 hours at +20°C. Lower temperatures, humid air, and certain wood types may significantly extend the drying time.
